1968 Cadillac
Fleetwood Brougham
sold
The Fleetwood Brougham was the top model among the 4-door Cadillacs in 1968. It is also something special because it has the best suspension comfort. The long wheelbase makes this even more refined than the de Ville and Calais series. The excellent condition plays a major role here: only 24,000 original miles! You can see and notice that in the Cadillac. It drives like a demonstration car. Nothing has been tinkered with or modified. This is how a '68 drives! The new-looking interior of the Brougham is something special:A fabric roof liner, wonderful brocade seats, real wood panels, footrests and briefcases in the back and much more....Plus some nice extras: -Automatic climate control-Disc brakes in the front (rare!)-Automatic lights (sentinel light)-Cruise control-6-way electric front seat-Central locking (power door locks)-Limited slip differential-6-way seat belts -Whitewall tires-Floor mats in the front-Trunk matAlready included as standard:-Electric windows in the front and rear-Vinyl roof-Level control-Reading lights in the rear-Power steering-Power brakes-3-speed automatic transmission-V8 engine with 7.7 liter displacement (new in 1968!)The car has a nice history:The original purchase contract is available. A wealthy lady traded in her '64 Cadillac after 4 years and only drove this '68 on special occasions. After that, I bought the car many years ago through my American collector colleague and have looked after it.
