This was Ford's top model!

The Thunderbird ran on the same assembly line at the Wixom plant as the Lincoln Continental Mark IV. The plant was built in the 1950s exclusively for the legendary Continental Mark II.

The quality was higher than in the huge River Rouge complex in Dearborn.

The '74 Thunderbird also has Lincoln technology with the best Ford engine, the 460 cu (7.5 liter) V8 engine and the C6 automatic transmission. Other components are also identical.

I actually like the design better. The front and rear design looks like the name suggests. The night design with the continuous light bar at the back is particularly spectacular!

This car is a very well-maintained collector's item. It has not been restored and is in its original paint. No wonder with only 11,000 original miles on the clock. It's a great feeling to be driving a demonstration car.
